From Tradition to Modern Excellence in Rice Milling

What began as a small initiative in the 1950s has grown into a legacy of excellence in rice milling. Cofounded in 1954 by M.M. Ramasundara Nadar, Parasakthi Rice Mill played a key role in shaping South Tamil Nadu’s rice industry. His son, M.R. Anandhan, modernized operations in 1993, followed by R.A. Maheswara Raja Rajan, who introduced advanced engineering. Expanding further, we established Dhalavai Pathrakali Amman Modern Rice Mill in 2006 and a second unit in 2011. In 2015, we diversified into urad dhal processing with Pathrakali Amman Agro Private Limited. Sustainability became a priority, leading to our transition to 3 MW solar power in 2020. In 2024, we launched Thalavai Sundaranachi Amman Modern Rice Mill with state-of-the-art Bühler Swiss technology. With a strong foundation in tradition and innovation, we continue to set new benchmarks in agro-processing. As we expand into global markets, we remain committed to delivering premium rice and agro products worldwide.
